An elementary school faced a crisis involving a teacher/parent interaction related to student behavior. Parents became enraged and demanded answers from the school.
Caissa worked with the school to build a community engagement plan to ensure ongoing communication with parents. We also conducted trainings with the school staff on ways to implement more effective teacher/parent communication.
The school formed an ongoing parent engagement committee to increase parent engagement and involvement with teachers and throughout the school. The school also implemented an annual faculty training on interacting with students and parents related to behavior and communication issues.
