3 Proven Ways to Build Your Email List

What’s the secret to a successful email campaign? The subject line? The pretty pictures or cool designs? Great deals or offers? All of those things are important, but the secret to a successful campaign is actually the quality of your email list.

So how do you build an effective email list full of quality leads and future clients?

Here are three proven methods to get you started.

1. Website or Blog

Your website or blog is generally the first thing people visit so start there and place an email sign-up form on it. You should offer something valuable in exchange for their email - discounts, resources, demos, eBooks, quiz results, and exclusive information are all great ideas to start. Think about what your ideal client might want the most and offer that in exchange for their email.

2. Hosting a Webinar

Hosting a webinar is a great way to communicate with your targeted audience while also collecting their email addresses.

Start by finding a subject that is relevant to your industry and then host a webinar around that topic. By having attendees sign-up for the webinar using their email addresses, you can communicate with them about the webinar and then your business afterwards. Tip: Make sure to promote your webinar across multiple platforms!

3. Run a LeadGen Ad on Facebook

Remember those valuable offers you're going to create from tip 1? Well you can use those here, too. Facebook LeadGen Ads are an easy way to promote an item, resource, discount, etc. and ask your audience for their email address in return.
